Vanuatu does not have a PPP legal framework in place.
The Privately Financed Airport Infrastructure Projects Act 2008 (“PPP Act”) facilitate private investment in airport infrastructure. This bill focuses on Built Own Operate and Transfer (BOOT) contracts and was developed specifically to legislate an airport PPP.
The Utilities Regulatory Authority, Act No. 11 of 2007 establishes the Utilities Regulatory Authority, including structure, functions and powers of authority.
