Through the funding of public projects, dissemination of global data and research, and efforts to attract private investment, the World Bank plays a critical role in enabling long-term, inclusive growth. The Infrastructure Finance Department of the World Bank Group plays a key role in strengthening the effectiveness and reach of public-private partnerships (PPPs). In addition to managing the Public-Private Partnership Resource Center (PPPRC), the department works closely with global development partners to develop and maintain several important knowledge management tools, including: These tools and partnerships aim to build capacity, improve project outcomes, and expand access to sustainable infrastructure in developing countries.
