Australia Space (Launches and Returns) Act 2018

 The objects of this Act are:  (a)  to establish a system for the regulation of space activities carried on either from Australia or by Australian nationals outside Australia; and (aa)  to establish a system for the regulation of the launch of high power rockets in Australia; and (b)  to ensure that a reasonable balance is achieved between:       (i)  the removal of barriers to participation in space activities and the encouragement of innovation and entrepreneurship in the space industry; and       (ii)  the safety of space activities, and the risk of damage to persons or property as a result of space activities, regulated by this Act; and  (c)  to implement certain of Australia’s obligations under the UN Space Treaties.

UK Communications Act 2003

An Act to confer functions on the Office of Communications; to make provision about the regulation of the provision of electronic communications networks and services and of the use of the electro-magnetic spectrum; to make provision about the regulation of broadcasting and of the provision of television and radio services; to make provision about mergers involving newspaper and other media enterprises and, in that connection, to amend the Enterprise Act 2002; and for connected purposes.

Nepal Interconnection Guideline 2076 (2019)

This Guideline for Interconnection regime is established pursuant to Section 52 (a) of the Telecommunications Act, 2053 (1997) to achieve the purpose laid down in the section 31 of the Act. This Guideline for Interconnection establishes the policy objectives and the regulatory principles to be applied for the Interconnection regime for telecommunication service providers who provide voice services in Nepal under various licenses issued by NTA. In particular, this Guideline sets out the procedures to be adopted for interconnecting the networks of different service providers and also sets out the prices for the associated interconnection.

Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (“ACCC”)

The Facilities Access Code

The ACCC has the power to make a Code, under Clause 37 of Part 5 of Schedule 1 of the Telecommunications Act 1997, which sets out conditions that are to be complied with in relation to the provision of access. The Facilities Access Code governs how access to certain telecommunications facilities owned by telecommunications carriers, including mobile towers and underground ducts, is provided to other carriers seeking to install their equipment on or in those facilities.

European Commission Annual Country Reports on Open Internet from National Regulators

The European Commission has published the annual country reports from National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs) on compliance with the provisions on open internet for the second consecutive year. The NRA reports were sent to the Commission and the Body of the European Regulators of Electronic Communications (BEREC). They cover the timeframe from 1 May 2017 until 30 April 2018. It is the second reporting period since the open internet rules became applicable on 30 April 2016.
