MES Barcelona: Driving the energy transition through public-private partnerships

MES Barcelona is a public-private partnership project that uses the tool of co-investment by public and private actors, with the specific objective of facilitating the energy transition and long-term sustainable energy savings by promoting self-consumption of electricity, in households as well as in companies and public facilities, through the use of photovoltaic collectors that harness solar energy.

Concession for the Delhi Noida Bridge (Case Study)

This is a case study prepared Planning Commission (Secretariat for the Committee on Infrastructure) featuring the Delhi Noida Bridge.

The Delhi Noida bridge is one of three bridges across the Yamuna river connecting Noida with Delhi and the only one that is tolled. It was opened to traffic in February 2001, and was among the first few projects to have been developed as a Public Private Partnership (PPP) in India.

Study on PPP Legal & Financial Frameworks in the Mediterranean Partner Countries

Purpose and structure of the Report

This is Volume 1 of the Report which is the product of a FEMIP (Facility for Euro-Mediterranean Investment and Partnership) Trust Fund Study analysing the legal and financial frameworks for Public Private Partnerships (PPP) in each of the Mediterranean partner countries. The definition of PPP for the purposes of the Report is a partnership between the public and private sectors pursuant to a long term contractual agreement and covering the design, construction, financing and ongoing operation and maintenance of an infrastructure asset.
