Nepal Interconnection Guideline 2076 (2019)

This Guideline for Interconnection regime is established pursuant to Section 52 (a) of the Telecommunications Act, 2053 (1997) to achieve the purpose laid down in the section 31 of the Act. This Guideline for Interconnection establishes the policy objectives and the regulatory principles to be applied for the Interconnection regime for telecommunication service providers who provide voice services in Nepal under various licenses issued by NTA. In particular, this Guideline sets out the procedures to be adopted for interconnecting the networks of different service providers and also sets out the prices for the associated interconnection.

Nepal Guideline for Tariff Approval for Telecommunications Services

This Guideline for tariff approval regime is established pursuant to Section 52 (b) of the Telecommunications Act, 2053 (1997) to achieve the purpose laid down in the section 42 of the Act. It is for tariff approval establishes the policy objectives and the regulatory principles to be applied for the approval of tariff to be charged and any changes thereof for services provided by licensed network operators and service providers in Nepal. In particular, this Guideline sets out the operational guidelines and principles to govern the tariff approval process.

Climate Risk Case Study - Hydro - Himal Nepal

This report presents the outcomes of a study analyzing the potential risks from climate change for the Khimti 1 run of the river hydro-electric power scheme in Nepal, owned and operated by the Himal Power Ltd (HPL). The risk analyses have assessed (within the limitations of the available information) how variability in current climate conditions together with future climate change can affect HPL’s operations and have impacts for the local communities.
