Decree for Wind Power Plants

This Decree defines the procedure for measurement and research of the wind potential, method and procedure of leasing land to be used for the measuring site, namely,the wind power plant location, the procedure for construction of the wind power plant and its connection to the electric energy system, as well as the purchase of the electric power.

Pursuant to Article 3 paragraph 1 item 4 of the Energy Law (“Official Gazette of Republic of Montenegro”, No. 39/03»), and Article 40, paragraph 3 of the State Property Law (“Official Gazette of Montenegro”, No. 21/09), the Government of Montenegro, during the session held on September 17, 2009, passed the DECREE FOR WIND POWER PLANTS.

Na osnovu člana 3 stav 1 tačka 4 Zakona o energetici („Službeni list RCG“, broj 39/03) i člana 40 stav 3 Zakona o državnoj imovini („Službeni list CG“, broj 21/09), Vlada Crne Gore na sjednici od 17. septembra 2009. godine, donijela je UREDBU O VJETROELEKTRANAMA

 

Ovom uredbom uređuje se postupak mjerenja i istraživanja potencijala vjetra, način i postupak davanja u zakup zemljišta na lokaciji za mjerenje, odnosno lokaciji vjetroelektrane, postupak izgradnje vjetroelektrane i njenog priključenja na elektroenergetski sistem, kao i otkup električne energije.

Montenegro has a number of good opportunities for the development of domestic resources for electricity generation. In the Government’s Energy Strategy and Action Plan, it has set out a programme for development that encompasses a range of projects from large-scale hydro and thermal projects to smaller scale renewable energy projects. This programme calls for significant participation by the private sector in generation investment over the coming decade and beyond.
