Community Engagement Guidance Note: An Approach to Inclusive Development of the Caribbean Communities by Securing Local Participation Throughout the Project Lifecycle.
This guidance note has been developed in response to the need to strengthen community engagement in projects supported by the BNTF and other development partners and in light of the Bank’s strategic emphasis on engagement and sharpened lens on safeguarding vulnerable communities.
The Caribbean PPP Toolkit has been produced by the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), the World Bank (WB), Public-Private Infrastructure Advisory Facility (PPIAF), Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF). Technical inputs were received from IMG Rebel consultants.

The IDB Group estimates climate finance in its projects according to the joint MDB approach on climate finance tracking. The methodologies for climate adaptation finance tracking and for climate mitigation finance tracking are publicly available in the Annexes B and C of the Joint Reports on Multilateral Development Banks’ Climate Finance, published annually since 2012.
