Broadband Feasibility Study Port of Walla Walla. Part 1

Goals of the Broadband Feasibility Study include:

  1. Document Walla Walla’s current broadband environment and identify current gaps and potential future shortcomings

  2. Identify ways that the Port can best utilize existing government owned fiber-optic infrastructure and new infrastructure investments to enhance broadband and municipal services in the Walla Walla region

  3. Focus on the benefits to economic development, education, public safety, healthcare and overall quality of life through Walla Walla’s broadband initiatives

Pre-Feasibility Study for Offshore Wind Farm Development in Tamil Nadu

This desktop study offers a preliminary overview of the potential for offshore wind development in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Completed under Work Package 1 of the FOWIND (Facilitating Offshore Wind in India) project; technical, financial, social and environmental parameters were considered to identify eight potential zones for further study. Further high level technical, financial and social-environmental studies were conducted focusing on key offshore wind project components. A parallel study has been completed for the state of Gujarat.

Hargeisa Water Agency Commercial Finance Pre-feasibility Report

The Hargeisa Water Agency (HWA) presents opportunities for catalytic investments ranging from US$30,000 to US$2.5m that could cumulatively triple HWA revenues from an average of SLSH 28bn (US$ 2.7m) to over SLSH 82bn (US$7.8m) within 3 years. The key opportunities lie in investments that leverage grant-financed infrastructure to generate additional revenue. Donors are currently implementing infrastructure projects worth more than US$40m to develop and link new water supply systems to an upgraded transmission line and distribution network in Hargeisa City.

Introduction

 

Les partenariats public-privé (ci-après « PPP ») diffèrent des modes classiques de commande publique à plusieurs titres. Dans le cadre d’un PPP, le secteur public et le secteur privé collaborent pour réaliser des projets d’infrastructures publiques – comme par exemple des routes, des chemins de fer, des hôpitaux, des écoles – qui présentent les caractéristiques communes suivantes :
