Iraq Investment law No. 13, 2006 laid out the foundation for attracting foreign investment into Iraq. The National Investment Commission (NIC) was established in 2007, to serve as promoter, facilitator, monitor, and policy advisor for investment into Iraq.

Directorate of Public Private Partnerships and Public Enterprises (PPP Unit) established under the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs

A Public-Private Partnership Support Unit was created within the National Investment Promotion Agency (ANPI) in 2018. 

The Ethiopian PPP Policy states a PPP Board, and a PPP Unit within the Ministry of Finance, PPP Directorate General, PPPDG. 

The body of control and regulation of public procurement in Djibouti is the National Commission of Public Procurement (la Commission Nationale des Marchés Publics, CNMP).

The Act No. 18-016 of 9 July 2018 on public-private partnerships, established the Public Procurement Regulation Authority (Autorité de Régulation des marchés publics)
