Standard Form of Waste Management Agreement (Chartered Institution of Wastes Management - CIWM)

This standard form contract for waste collection was developed by the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) in collaboration with Clarkslegal LLP, a British law firm, and last updated in 2009. The contract may be used as a template for the provision of collection and recycling services as well as for instances where the operation of household waste recycling centers, transfer stations and/or treatment or final disposal sites is concerned.

Residual Waste Treatment Contract (Waste Infrastructure Delivery Programme - WIDP)

The contract and its schedules were last updated in November 2010. The contract contains an extensive section pertaining to the respective works and services, termination events and compensation upon termination as well as general terms, such as sub-contracting, intellectual property and change in ownership in the contractor. It also provides helpful drafting guidance whenever alternative clauses to those suggested in the standard form contract might be considered.

BOT Project for sanitary landfill (FR)

This suite of documents was developed under a World Bank project as sample documents for landfill projects in Morocco.  It comprises the draft agreement, RFP and prequalification document.
