This report provides a selection of successful case studies focusing on innovative public-private partnerships (PPPs) that have responded to critical development challenges in the areas of social, human and sustainable development. The case studies, prepared by a multi-disciplinary team from, and supervised by, the Global Agenda Council on Latin America of the World Economic Forum, cover a broad set of thematic areas including education, health, sustainable development, climate change, access to and use of information and communication technologies, the efficiency of public administration, post-disaster prevention and reconstruction, and gender equality. Each case highlights the ways in which innovative collaboration between governments and private actors has improved the quality of public goods and services or contributed to sustainable development. The range of case studies varies from the local to the regional and national level.
