Working with the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, World Bank Group and SECO, AKFED developed a PPP solution to turn around a decrepit, loss making utility and create a sustainable, viable, replicable energy system in the most remote, harsh and poverty stricken region in Tajikistan.
