To address the globally growing interest in the electrification of public transit through electric buses, IFC has developed the “E-Bus Toolkit”.
The E-Bus Toolkit offers a systematic approach that encompasses a suite of operational guidance notes & tools, Terms of Reference templates and sector knowledge papers. Its ambition is to assist IFC staff in implementing electric bus projects in a systematic manner and as such
- provides a systematic screening system to identify cities ready for the adoption of electric buses
- allows IFC to handhold a city through the process of e-bus project design and implementation
The E-Bus Toolkit is a joint undertaking of the INR Global Infrastructure (Municipal and Environmental & Transport) and Climate Business Department teams.
