Telecom and Internet Regulation

Regulation of competition in the telecommunications market (SMP) and domain aspects.

The Danish Business Authority is the telecommunications regulator. We regulate fixed line telecommunications and mobile. We also have the responsibility for regulating certain issues concerning the internet.

Competition regulation

The main Danish legislation is the consolidated Act no. 955 of 17 June 2022 on electronic communications networks and services with subsequent amendments. It is called the Tele Act.
