Veitvet School project
The Veitvet School project is being built as a PPP and consists of a new elementary and middle school for grades 1 to 10, including a multi-use hall. The private partner (Skanska) will develop, construct and take care of maintenance the next 25 years, and has signed a contract with the Oslo municipality for leasing the school over the same period, with a possible prolongation. The Veivet School project follows a low carbon strategy and seeks to achieve a minimum of 50 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to a conventional building of today´s standard.
