Infrastructure Priority List

The Infrastructure Priority List, aligned with the Australian Government’s investment priorities, identifies unfunded, nationally significant infrastructure proposals ready for planning or delivery.

Following reforms to the Infrastructure Australia Act 2008, the List now focuses on targeted, evidence-based proposals submitted by state or territory governments. Although inclusion does not guarantee funding, the List supports informed investment decisions. Proposals fall into three development stages: Early-Stage (Stage 1), Potential Investment Options (Stage 2), and Investment Ready (Stage 3).

The list remains a key reference for project prioritization while Infrastructure Australia consults stakeholders on its implementation.
