How does Covid-19 affect PPPs? The Covid-19 pandemic has been a major economic shock and affected PPPs and infrastructure, at all stages and in all sectors. Supply chains are disrupted, customer demand falls, and health regulations force a change in the way business is conducted. PPPLRC has launched a number of new Covid-19 pages intended to provide insights and resources, which may help in navigating how Covid-19 will affect PPPs.

The Public-Private Partnership Resource Center (PPPRC) was formerly known as The Public-Private Partnership Legal Resource Center (PPPLRC) and the Public-Private Partnership in Infrastructure Resource Center for Contracts, Laws and Regulations (PPPIRC). For over two decades, the site has successfully curated and shared guidance on structuring PPP projects, its enabling environment, as well as sector-specific information.

When designing and developing a public-private partnership (PPP) project, a government agency may seek assistance from external advisors to complement its own team and supplement its resources and expertise. The range of potential advisers includes legal, financial and technical advisors and can be used to develop pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, as well as draft bidding documents and support the contracting agency in procuring and negotiating the project.
