Te Waihanga seeks to transform infrastructure for all New Zealanders, to lift the economic performance of Aotearoa and improve the wellbeing of all New Zealanders.

The New Zealand Infrastructure Commission, Te Waihanga, was officially formed by the New Zealand Infrastructure Commission/Te Waihanga Act 2019 on 25 September 2019. 

The New Zealand PPP Framework: A Blueprint for Future Transactions outlines a series of enhancements to the government’s approach to planning, procuring, and delivering future Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects. The framework can be accessed on the Te Waihanga website.
