Planning and Implementing Disclosure in PPPs

This online course will equip PPP professionals with skills in planning and implementing a customized PPP disclosure framework unique to their contexts.

The course is based on the World Bank Framework for Disclosure in Public-Private Partnerships, which helps clients identify what pieces of information will meaningfully add to the public’s understanding of the PPP transaction without undermining the pursuit of improved outcomes through increased private sector participation.

In four self-paced modules, learners will

  • Understand the importance of disclosure in PPPs and be able to explain the rationale for implementing structured PPP disclosure
  • Demonstrate how to undertake a disclosure diagnostic to assess the status of PPP disclosure in a country
  • Learn how to develop and implement a customized framework for disclosure for that country

The target audience for this course includes government officials involved in functions related to public investment management and, in particular, PPP regulatory bodies, coordinating entities, and contracting authorities.

This online learning course seeks to equip professionals, who work on PPPs, with essential skills in planning and implementing a customized disclosure framework for PPPs in a country.
