PPPs can play an important role in addressing gender inequalities by advancing the development of infrastructure that mainstreams gender, promotes equality, empowers women, and fosters inclusive growth. This tool kit aims to offer practical tips on what gender issues should be considered across the PPP development cycle and what gender actions can be taken for different infrastructure sectors in response.

The tool kit is the first of its kind for Asian Development Bank and aims to bring teams working on PPPs and gender equality closer in collaboration toward common objectives.
