The role of the public private partnership in the innovation cluster development

The analysis of the indicators of the innovation activity for the last years reveals the ineffectiveness of the current innovation system and the necessity for its modernization. The article proves the perspectivity of the development of the innovation system by means of implementation the public private partnership (PPP) mechanism, dwells on the cluster approach as one of the most promising among the PPP mechanisms which presupposes the use of the innovation clusters as the key elements.
