This official website of the Wembley Stadium introduces the consideration on local community during the implementation of the stadium project.
The re-building of the national stadium transformed the local area. More than £70m was invested in road, rail, and pedestrian routes, to ensure the infrastructure copes with the influx of fans on event days – and benefits local residents, and businesses all year round.
