Channel Tunnel Intergovernmental Commission (IGC)

The Intergovernmental Commission carries out its duties in accordance with Article 10 of the Treaty of Canterbury. In the safety field it benefits from the advice of the Channel Tunnel Safety Authority (Article 11 of the Treaty) and in the field of security it works in co-ordination with the “Joint Security Committee”. It has also as a role of regulatory body.
