The following section defines the roadmap for developing and successfully implementing an asset recycling program.
The roadmap consists of six steps:
Define the asset recycling program (goals and objectives, and scope and scale);
Create the necessary setting (e.g., a public governance mechanism);
Create momentum (through engaging public and private sector);
Monetize assets / transaction process; (v) Re-invest proceeds; and
Monitor the program.
