Technical Due Diligence in Asset Recycling

The objective of the technical due diligence is to identify potential technical issues with respect to the asset. This exercise should form the basis for determining the scope for management, maintenance, and refurbishment of the asset to ensure that required performance specifications can be met over the concession or lease term. The Relevant Authority, supported by its technical advisors, should carry out the following steps in conducting technical due diligence of the asset: The assessment includes a study on the existing asset condition: Historical Future / Forecast The outcome of the technical due diligence should be provided as a report. As a minimum, it should report on the overall performance and condition of the asset, assess future capital, operational, and life-cycle expenditure plans.
