The Vietnamese Government has issued a new model PPA for rooftop solar projects under Circular No. 05/2019 TT-BCT, dated 11 March 2019.

The Investment Promotion Department of Laos also publishes model draft concession agreements for PPP projects between private project proponents and the government of Laos. This Wind Farm Guide for Host Landholders was produced by New South Wales Farmer’s Association in Australia. It sets out an overview of common legal issues and market practices in respect of the negotiation of land lease agreements for hosting renewable projects in Australia.

Land Lease Agreements are used whenever the government owns the land of the site of a project and leases it to the operating company or concesionnaire for the period of the concession contract. In an independent power project, the Land Lease Agreement could be a stand-alone agreement, or its main provisions can also be included in the Power Purchase Agreement or Implementation Agreement.

Generator Connection Agreement published by Transgrid (a transmission service provider in New South Wales, Australia) on its website. The agreement sets out the terms on which Transgrid provides transmission services to generator customers (including renewable power generators) on its transmission network. The electricity transmission and distribution networks in Australia are owned and operated by private players, who provide services on their networks under negotiated private contracts.

Public private partnerships in power require also an Interconnection, Grid Connection of Power Pooling Agreement. This kind of contracts outline the responsibilities and fees for connecting the power generated by an independent power producer to the owner of grid system, generally a public entity.
