The World Energy Council (WEC) is a UN-accredited, member-based global energy network that brings together energy leaders, experts, and practitioners from various sectors to promote the sustainable supply and use of energy worldwide.

The World Energy Council has developed a set of transition tools designed to define and better manage successful energy transitions, while driving impact and fostering effective collaboration. These tools – which can be used individually or in combination – can be applied to support interventions on a global, regional, national, sectoral, and/or cross-sectoral basis.
