National Highways Infra Trust

National Highways Infra Trust (NHIT), sponsored by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), was established in 2020 as an InvIT under SEBI regulations. The Trust is managed by National Highways Infra Investment Managers Pvt. Ltd. (NHIIMPL) and overseen by IDBI Trusteeship Services. 

Operations and maintenance are carried out by the NHAI-owned National Highways InvIT Project Managers Pvt. Ltd. NHIT’s asset portfolio is housed within Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs): NWPPL (Western Projects), NEPPL (Eastern Projects), and NSPPL (Southern Projects). 

These SPVs hold concession agreements across multiple Indian states. NHIT’s vision is to deliver excellence in infrastructure investment and user experience, with a mission rooted in sustainability and community wellbeing.
