Greece: Law on Public Private Partnerships (in English)

  • Greece: Law on Public Private Partnerships (English) - Law 3389/2005 on Public Private Partnerships (PPP) lays the foundations for the wide provision of services and the undertaking of construction work of public benefit in collaboration with and co-funded by the private sector. This law is designed to facilitate public-private partnerships by creating a market-friendly regulatory environment.  The law includes useful provisions relating to the establishment of a central inter-ministerial PPP committee with oversight over PPP projects and a PPP unit within the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
