The Greater London Authority (GLA) Group Responsible Procurement Policy: One of the policy goals is to encourage equality and diversity by removing barriers in procurement approaches and processes that inhibit Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs), community sector organizations, diverse enterprises and under-represented groups from easily entering the supply chain and to ensure that procurement processes are transparent, straightforward, and open to the whole of the supplier community. Diverse enterprises include women-owned enterprises. It will seek skills, training and employment opportunities by working with our supply chain to address under-representation of diverse groups, including women.
